Seamless web...a jewel at customer service

I've probably already written about Seamlessweb.com.  My cuz told me about the site quite some time ago. The essence of it is that you enter in your information and then have access to tons of restaurants to order food for home delivery.  The site keeps your info so you never have to re-enter your address and details nor your credit card. It's all there. You add the tip to the total online and then your food comes and all you have to do is sign. 

Now, I don't know if this would work in all cities but NYC is definitely a delivery town. I don't think I had ever ordered any food for delivery except for pizza before living here. Maybe I had, but it was rare.  But here I do it a LOT. More than I should, probably. And Seamlessweb.com makes it easier than easy.

But, I thought that changed on Wed. As I rested before my night out at the People party, I wanted to eat...figured there would be a bit of wine drinking so wanted to make sure I acted appropriately which means a full stomach is a must!  Well, I ordered from my fav place - chicken wings (I know, very healthy..but they are SO good) and a salad.  The order came and they sent me TWO salads - no wings. I was so mad cause I was really looking forward to my wings.  I called the restaurant directly and the phone was disconnected.  So then I emailed Seamlessweb...I replied to their confirmation email which I assumed would never be answered.

Well, about 5 minutes later my phone rang. It was seamlessweb.  How about that? They wanted to know what happened and they wanted to fix it. And they did. Ten minutes later, I got my wings.  About 10 minutes after that, they were gone and I was happy.
